Most police force employees are eligible to claim a tax rebate from HMRC for expenses incurred because of their job.
What you can reclaim depends on your job title and the type of work related expenses you have.
The tax office lets you claim back a rebate for the previous four financial years. At the end of a claim you should be issued with a new tax code saving you more money by paying less income tax in the future.
